Women Empowering Women - Lotus House

Self-Love Workshop with Lotus House Women’s Shelter 

If you didn’t know, last month was women’s history month. To celebrate we decided to donate our time, products, and love to a local women's shelter in Miami. Last Friday we spent two hours with some of the wonderful, intelligent, and admirably inquisitive women at Lotus House Miami. 

Founded in 2004 by the Sundari Foundation Inc., Lotus House is a women's shelter dedicated to improving the lives of women, youth and children who are experiencing homelessness. They provide food, sanctuary, support, education, tools, and resources to empower these women to heal, learn, grow and blossom into the best versions of themselves. 

Chloe Mortaud, co-founder of Mademoiselle Provence, and Vanessa Vlandis, the Marketing Associate, led a workshop about skincare, inner beauty, and self-love. The women and children at Lotus House were gracious hosts and posed excellent questions. We absolutely loved sharing our knowledge and experience with these ladies and can’t wait to do it again! 

Mademoiselle Provence understands the importance of giving back. Even if you have nothing to tangibly give; donating your time, love, and dedication to others never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated. We believe in community support, in education!
